I woud like to thank the EAT organisation for their hospitality over the many past years.
The good-natured reception that I have found always made the coffee taste better, or at least more enjoyable (at least in my imagination).
I share this opinion with others who have consumed at EAT with satisfaction. not only the coffee, but also the other food items. .
Over the years I have managed to form personal relationships with the employees who used to work in Tottenham COurt Road branch and in the Festival Hall EAT.
I have always valued the helpful and welcoming attitude at EAT, that I have (almost) always encountered in the shops, and also the willingness to acknowledge that the customer is always right (even if it is not so...)
For example, if the coffee has turned out to be somewhat stale due to the fact that, as will happen in busy perioda, there has not been the time or opportunity to run through the cleaning cycle of the coffee machine, the staff are ready to react appropriately without complaint.
So I regret the fact that soon this organisation will disappear, and that its business model is apparently no longer as sucessful as it once was,
It seems to be a great shame that long-established teams are split up.
Recently I visited yout Soho Square branch for the first time, and was delighted to find the same level of customer service and quality.
So...
To find a new olace to enjoy a coffee, I have had to go around the centre of London in order to try the coffee in the Coffee shop chains.
I have concluded that the the EAT coffee blend is more to my taste than any of the others. I find it both strong and smooth.
Is it possible to tell me more about it.?
The Pret A Manger shops are comfortable and pleasant places and I wouold be happy to spend some time in there.
I appreciate that Pret Aa Manger is not primarily a provider of coffee.
But I regret that, although the coffee is described as "organic", the taste is rather strong and somewhat bitter for my taste.
IT would be nice if Pret A Manger could take this on board. If you have any contact with their management, perhaps you could suggest the they might think about changing to the EAt blend (althoough Iam not very hopeful...)
Thank you very much.
